About the Foundation
We build the leaders who shape the systems.
MSFR is a Vancouver-based non-profit foundation uniting funding, world-class training, and elite networks — turning sparks of innovation into movements that advance human rights and amplify Muslim voices on the world stage.
Who We Are
MSFR is a registered non-profit, rooted in Islamic values and built on amanah — sacred trust and responsibility. We combine advocacy, creativity, and enterprise to empower individuals and communities while building a durable, self-sustaining institution. We are not charity, and we are not reactive advocacy. We confront structural barriers directly — through economic inclusion, political presence, and civic leadership.
Our Vision
A legacy of excellence, grounded in faith.
To build a future where Muslim leaders, innovators, and storytellers shape global systems in politics, business, and culture — creating powerhouses of influence that transform nations, inspire movements, and leave a legacy of excellence grounded in faith and human dignity.
Our Mission
Ideas into global impact.
MSFR empowers Muslim changemakers to transform ideas into global impact. By uniting funding, world-class training, and elite networks, we elevate sparks of innovation into movements that advance human rights, amplify Muslim voices, and redefine what excellence means on the world stage.
How We Work
Three pillars.
Engagement
We create spaces for meaningful human connection and community. MSFR Meets brings people together through comedy, poetry, qawali, and open mic — cultivating networks of support, dialogue, and collaboration.
Change Makers
We equip people with the skills, tools, and confidence to drive real change. From leadership training to civic engagement and advocacy work, we prepare leaders to step into real systems — ready to influence them and to last.
Monetary Sustainability
Lasting impact requires a strong foundation. As a non-profit, MSFR sustains its mission through revenue-generating activity — including our e-store of Islamic gifts such as greeting cards and tasbeehs, open to everyone. Every purchase funds the work.
The Standard We Hold
Leadership as a trust.
Amanah — sacred trust — is the internal standard we hold ourselves to for leadership, accountability, and organizational integrity. It is not a slogan; it is the measure by which every decision is weighed.
We look to two models of principled leadership: leaders who carried responsibility without flinching, and who measured power by what it was used to protect.
How We Speak
Our voice.
Authoritative, never apologetic
We speak with confidence, not concession. Our role is to lead, not to ask permission.
Visionary and global
Every message sits in the context of systems, power, and scale — not isolated projects.
Grounded in ihsan
Islamic values are present and lived, explained with clarity for those outside the tradition.
Professional and polished
Language mirrors the standard of global forums and policy spaces, while remaining warm and human.
Invitational, not begging
The tone is simple: this is moving forward. You are welcome to join — but the work continues regardless.
